The Music
Those who have heard Jade’s music will tell you “You NEED to listen to this song, or “Play this song with your kids”, or “This song is going to make you cry, but you’ll love it.” Those who have met her will tell you that she LOVES God, and is all about being small so He can take the credit. Jade is just like you and me, with kids, work, and a busy life. You might bump into her at the grocery store with her baseball cap and think 'she seems a little shy'. Yet it is her smallness that spotlights God's BIGness. There is an intimacy in her words and presence that make you feel right at home at her concerts, like you were sitting in her living room while she excitedly tells you about how God has intervened in her life and sings a couple of tunes. There is a compelling intimacy that shines through in her music. It is this lyrical humility and melody combined into one that draws people to the music and causes to listen over and over again. Kids sing along with "Hero", moms are reminded that God is close, and people battling disease or in tough times have used it as a tool to keep their spirits up. There is a song (or more likely many songs) on this CD for everyone.
Born and raised in the Midwest, Jade’s heartfelt lyrics and melodies have struck an honest chord with audiences. She has played concerts from Chicago to Kentucky to Ohio and is happy to share God's story in her life whether it's at a tiny coffee house or on a big stage. She has been invited to sing at churches, festivals, crusades, cable television and has shared her message on broadcast and internet radio. Her writing and perspective come from someone who has had the same struggles we have, doing a full time career, raising kids, trying to juggle life while keeping God as priority. The music ranges from upbeat, edgier tunes celebrating God’s passion for us and His gift of family and life to poignant melodies soothing hard questions, sickness and death. Her style speaks to all ages and she regularly receives enthusiastic correspondence from kids, teens and adults alike.
